New mother, Nicole Kidman has named her first biological daughter as ‘Sunday’ to hit out at controversial religion of Scientology.

A source close to Nicole says, “Nicole is a Catholic, and Sunday was an important religious day for her until she was involved in Scientology.”

“She’s still bitter about her experience with Scientology and the fact her baby’s name could be perceived as one last jab doesn’t exactly upset her.”

Kidman dabbled with the controversial religion when she was Scientology fanatic, Tom Cruise’s wife.

According to an insider, hubby Keith Urban had written a beautiful song titled ‘Sunday’ for his daughter prior to her birth.

“They knew the sex of the baby beforehand, and once Keith wrote the song, they thought it was the perfect name for their baby,” the insider says. “They really didn’t know she’d almost be born on Sunday.”

Kidman’s mother Janelle and sister Antonia who took off from Sydney to be with her received Sunday Rose Kidman Urban with great happiness.

Antonia said, “The birth of Nicole and Keith’s daughter is such wonderful news and a beautiful addition to our family.”

“We’re all absolutely thrilled with the new arrival.”

Sunday Rose is the first biological child of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban.
