Nicole Kidman’s sinful temptations!

Nicole Kidman has one sinful temptation she can’t resist -  eating chocolate cake. Treating herself to cakes and pies is her one of guilty pleasures.
Nicole Kidman can’t resist eating chocolate cake. The Cold Mountain actress - who is currently filming Australia alongside Hugh Jackman - says treating herself to cakes and pies is her one of guilty pleasures.nicole-kidman-asg-004009.jpg

Nicole reveals, “I can’t have a piece of cake every single night, but I can have a piece of cake three or four nights a week! I eat healthily, but I also love pies and chocolate. I’ve always had this long, lean body type and I haven’t changed since I was 15. I have a boy’s body. I would love to have boobs and a butt like Jennifer Lopez, but I’m not having surgery so there it is.”

The flame-haired star also insists she will never cut out her favourite foods or obsess about her body.

Nicole says, “When I see a great big piece of cheese and wonder if it’s better to eat it and get cellulite or not eat it, in the end, I’ll probably nibble on the cheese.”

Along with calorific treats, Nicole - who turned 40 last month - also refuses to give up smoking.

Of course staying healthy and good looking is important… and so is to have a little bit of fun and treat yourself occasionally… Right Nic?

Nic hit in head with gun while shooting!

nicole_kidman.jpgThere she goes again… Accident-prone Nic has been struck in the head with a gun barrel by an acting extra on the set of Baz Luhrmann’s new movie, Australia, in Darwin.

The Northern Territory News is reporting the incident occurred yesterday while Baz Luhrmann was filming his epic love story at Stokes Hill Wharf.

It was the second apparent mishap involving Kidman in two days after the launch she was sitting in reportedly came close to running head-on into a much bigger boat on Wednesday.

An on-site source said Kidman bent over clutching at her head.

Production staff yesterday denied the reports of the launch near-miss.

But an on-set source claimed the boat, meant to take Kidman from a plane to Stokes Hill Wharf, “suddenly shot forward” straight at the other moored vessel as it neared the wharf.

Hope she takes care there… we wouldnt like to lose such a good actress… isn’t it?

Kidman narrowly avoids nasty collision

Looks like Nicole Kidman attracts accidents whenever she is shooting for a movie. Yet again,
a quick-thinking extra saved Nicole Kidman from a collision between two boats during yesterday’s filming of the movie Australia.

mtv33.jpeg
She was sitting on the bow of a small wooden vessel, which was being steered around Darwin Harbour by veteran Australian actor Bill Hunter.

Sources on the movie set have told National Nine News the actor over-steered the boat, putting it on a collision course with a large pearling ship moored in the Harbour.

Kidman was in a vulnerable position at the bow, and would have taken the full force of the impact, but an extra averted the collision by reaching over and putting the vessel into reverse.

Consternation could be clearly seen among the actors after the event and another extra took over the steering duties from Hunter.

The production company has denied there was a near miss, and says at no stage was production disrupted, or anyone’s safety put at risk.

Filming on the movie has continued.

We all know that Nicole Kidman’s forthcoming flick the Invasion is going to be released soon i.e on August 17th… It is a story of a mysterious epidemic that alters the behavior of human beings. When a Washington D.C. psychiatrist (Nicole Kidman) discovers the epidemic’s origins are extraterrestrial, she must fight to protect her son, who may hold the key to stopping the escalating invasion.

Check out its interesting red poster… the story surely sounds promising.

Nic gets her bum pinched!

03

July

If you thought being an actor in Hollywood is all about glamour, glory and all pleasant nicole_kidman_22163.jpgexperiences then you’ve got to hear this one.

Nicole Kidman got her ivory clad cheeks pinched in Darwin during the filming of Baz Luhrmann’s forthcoming flick Australia.

According to Ninemsn, the locals call a firm squeeze of the butt a “Territory handshake.” Gotta love it when sexual assault becomes part of the vernacular.

“She’s been given the old Territory handshake,” said a local to the NT News. “Every Territory girl has had one of those.”

Kidman shot the man a fierce look, but it was all part of the script — designed to show the difficulties of being a woman in a male-dominated society.

Sometimes being an actor can be unpleasant both on and off screen you see :D

Nic’s movie set damaged by flooding!

02

July

nicole-kidman-16.jpgThe set of Nicole Kidman’s forthcoming flick Australia, which was being directed by Baz Luhrmann, has been unexpectedly flooded to such an extent that Luhrmann has pulled up stakes and moved shooting to another part of Australia. “It’s like rain in the Sahara, it’s as unexpected as that,” the film’s location manager told the Sydney Morning Herald. “But we’re making an epic and if you’re making an epic you’re going to have setbacks. That’s the way [Baz] sees it, I guess.” Because of the flooding, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman have been re-routed to Sydney to shoot some interiors while things get under control. All of this re-shuffling will have a financial impact, the location manager admitted. “There will be a cost involved but we did have to shoot in Sydney, so we’ll go back there and regroup, and wait for it to brown off again,” he said. I think that’s Aussie-speak for dry out.

Nicole Kidman’s glam & expensive commercials!

01

July

Nicole Kidman starred in one of thenicole-kidman-sgs-006986.jpg most glamorous and expensive commercials ever made when she swooshed through Paris for Chanel No.5 (under the watchful eye of director Baz Luhrmann).

The massive fanfare surrounding that advertisement seems to have bypassed Kidman’s latest low-key commercial foray for Nintendo.

In a series of advertisements airing in Europe, Kidman appears as a slightly ditsy version of herself in a promotion for the company’s new “brain training” games.

Nic dressed in casual white, plays a game of rock, scissors, paper on a handset, before claiming she is trying to keep her mind young.

Kidman’s representatives have not confirmed how much she was paid for the 30-second advertisement (it is believed to be in the millions) or why she agreed to front the campaign, given she has no need for the money or media exposure.
