Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban are eager to spend more time with Nicole’s kids from her first marriage to Tom Cruise.

The Oscar winner and her Kiwi born husband hardly get to spend time with Isabella and Connor, the two children Kidman and Cruise adopted while they were married marriage and who now stay with Cruise and his current wife Katie Holmes.

According to a report in Star Magazine, Urban, after his October 2006 rehab stint and busy tour schedule, is desperate to spend precious time with his step-kids.

“Keith says he regrets that he hasn’t gotten to know them better. When things slow down this fall, he and Nicole plan to remedy that,” the National Ledger quoted a source, as saying.

However, the magazine also claims that Nicole’s ex, Cruise, may create problems for the Nashville-based couple’s plan to bond with the kids.

Good news for Nicole Kidman fans as Hollywood Reported said that they would get to see her as playing the role that Marilyn Monroe played in the movie ‘How To Marry a Millionare’ in 1953.

Marilyn Monre as people might have observed, was more of a novelty and an item in the sexually repressed 50s with hardly impressive acting talents… people are expecting that considering Nicole Kidman is a way better actress though seriously lacking sex appeal that Marilyn Monroe oozed with every move on screen… the movie might actually be watchable this time… although with a little less sex appeal.

Fox is keeping the plot of their remake under wraps, and the original had three female leads. How to Marry a Millionaire starred Betty Grable, Marilyn Monroe, and Lauren Bacall as three New York models tired of cheap men and poverty who decide to use their considerable feminine talents to land rich men.

Terminal scribe Sacha Gervasi has been hired to write the script, and will have the job of contemporizing the original movie to fit modern views on feminism. And since Nic has a good rept to protect as a feminist… wonder if she would do justice to the remake and the role.

Keith Urban faced tough time fighting his demons at the rehab soon after his marriage to Nic… people think he has been successful because apparently Nic was so dominating and stern about all his problems that he had literally no choice but to either fight his drink and drug demons or just get over their marriage. However this notion doesnt really seem true in Keith’s case who seems to be so truly, madly and deeply in love with Nic that whilst on his London tour, he had only one person to thank for support.

When he introduced his ‘Got It Right This Time’ at Shepherds Bush Empire, he declared,

“It’s been really hard and I’d just like to dedicate this one to my wife, Nicole Kidman.” “I want to thank her for all her love over the last six months”, he added.

When Nicole Kidman was with Tom Cruise, we got an idea that she is not the kinds who would take a maternity break from her career… so she went ahead and adopted two kids.

I wonder why we are expecting her not to do the same when she is with Keith Urban now. She is the highest paid actress in Hollywood today, and under no circumstance would she want to lose out on her that demand she has in the industry.

And people just tend to be obsessed with celebrity pregnancies… Its not only Nicole Kidman out there but celebs like Jennifer Lopez, Halle Berry and Demi Moore who have been repeatedly suspected to be pregnant when they just don’t seem to be interested in having kids.

On woman from Canada asks, “Why do stars like Nicole Kidman and Halle Berry keep telling the media they are dying to have kids if they don’t want people constantly speculating on whether they are pregnant?”

Thats the idea babe… thats called effective PR skills… what better than getting yourself a column space in the tabloids every week letting people scan you for a baby bump… and keeping well in the limelight even when you are seriously up to no good these days.

Nicole Kidman is again and again accused for being a ruthless, materialistic workaholic but she is the apple of Keith Urban’s eye. Apparently the man made adjustments in his ‘Love, Pain & the whole crazy World Tour’ to accommodate wifey Nicole Kidman and thereby putting their marriage first. But that won’t take away from the energy of the tour he assured.

The report in the weekly entertainment magazine notes that Keith has restructured his upcoming world tour just a bit to include scheduled breaks in Australia, where wife Nicole Kidman will be filming an epic romance with costar Hugh Jackman for the rest of the year.

The country star, 39, who completed three months of rehab in January, has two special reasons for his break from June 17 to June 27: Nicole turns 40 on June 20 and the couple’s first wedding anniversary is June 25.

‘The Secret’ is devised by a fellow-Australian - TV producer Rhonda Byrne. It is said to be an approach to life based on the idea that like attracts like, so if you think something good will happen to you, it will.

Nicole Kidman is consoling her younger sister, TV presenter Antonia, whose husband is undergoing a treatment in an Australian health clinic.

Antonia’s husband Angus Hawley is suffering from anxiety and depression. He was admitted to The Sydney Clinic in Bronte a week ago.

His admission to the clinic comes just two weeks after Antonia gave birth to their fourth child, Sybella.

Kidman is also in Australia at the moment, and is supporting her sister’s family.

Antonia has issued a statement in which she has requested the media to not infringe her family’s privacy, as they are already in a trouble.

“Our family is going through a difficult time at present. Angus is currently in a clinic seeking help to deal with anxiety and depression. He has my full support and we ask that people respect our family’s privacy at this time,” Sydney Morning Herald quoted the statement as reading.

Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein plans to make a big-screen adaptation of the award-winning musical ‘Nine’ and is determined to attract Hollywood’s biggest stars. He says he is considering big stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Anne Hathaway, Nicole Kidman, Judi Dench, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renée Zellweger to play the female lead.

Nic has already proven her singing skills in Moulin Rouge but Judi Dench seems to be giving her tough competition because her singing talents are also worth a chance after we saw her as Sally Bowles in the first West End production of ‘Cabaret’ in 1968.

Weinstein and director Rob Marshall are said to be considering Johnny Depp, George Clooney, Antonio Banderas and Javier Bardem for the male lead.

The all are so awesome! Im sure Nic should be the choice (if that is not really hard on Weinstein’s pocket) and she would look amazing with all these irresistably hot men.

Nicole Kidman has receieved one of her country’s highest honors in a special ceremony held today at Govt House in Sydney Australia where she was awarded the Companion of the Order of Australia by the Governor-General Michael Jeffery, a representative for the Queen.

This honor “is awarded for eminent achievement and merit of the highest degree in service to Australia or humanity at large.” Therefore it was bestowed on Nicole Kidman because of her excellent contributions to film and her “work promoting women and children’s health, and cancer research.” Nicole Kidman is also a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF.

When speaking to reporters just after accepting the award Kidman said,

“It’s a pat on the back, which as a little girl is something you dream of.”

Nicole was back home down under celebrating Easter with her sister, Aussie Journalist Antonia Kidman where she was spotted with her hubby Keith Urban and a her nephew Hamish at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
