Nicole Kidman the Australian actress who has won accolades for her portrayal in The Hours, The Others, Cold Mountain to name a few has no problem with being nude on screen as she feels that sometimes it is required for maintaining aesthetics while filming a movie at times. As quoted by her:

“Honestly Is nudity on screen that big a deal? I think you say you’re going to do something for a film because you believe in it artistically and you don’t censor yourself emotionally”

She also believes that as long as it is not hinging vulgarity or as long as it is not exploitative Ms. Kidman is ready to go along with the scene. The first time Nicole made her nude appearance was in the movie Eyes wide shut with her ex-husband Tom Cruise. In the movie Nicole Kidman is completely nude and the scenes which were shot sensuously with Tom running his hand down her back had become a hit in America. Nicole is a brilliant actress with a lot of panache hence such things really do not make a wide difference to prove her acting skills.

The very beautiful Nicole Kidman will soon be seen in a WWII epic and sharing the screen space beside her will be Hugh Jackman. The movie called ‘Australia’ is based in the northern part of the Kangaroo Island and is the story of an English aristocrat who inherits a ranch.

And as the projects kicks off in Australia the actress is expected to fly down under irrespective of the fact that he is still under rehab and trying really hard to quit his alcohol addiction. So people, is that an indication in itself that the babe ranks her career more than her hubby??? Watch out for this space for the answers…

While Keith Urban is laying in rehab, he’s taking the classic route and sending his woman some love letters. And they’re not just any love letters, they’re hand-written and some serious and heavy stuff at that.
Not that he’s courting her or anything, but he wants to give her hope that things will be all right and he also wants to show her that he cares, says a source close to the couple. And if Keith isn’t there to comfort Nicole, there’s Keith’s mom who’s on that job. Nicole even refers to her as ‘mom.’

Nicole on the other hand is sending presents… not to husband Keith, but to ex- husband Tom Cruise, for his wedding. What she sent, we don’t know, but it was accompanied with a note that “wishes them both a lifetime of happiness together”, according to People magazine.

I don’t think the news is really ‘ freaking’, but yeah well, Nicole Kidman is already a mom who doesn’t have kids who are biologically hers. The two kids she has, Isabella and Connor, are adopted kids from her marriage to Tom Cruise. Hmmmm…., I wonder why Cruise and Kidman didn’t have kids of their own?
The good news now however, is that Kidman is going to have a baby of her own with husband Keith Urban. Grammy-award winner and drug addict/alcoholic Urban, who is currently recovering in a rehab center in California, got a surprise visit from his superstar wife, who broke the happy news to him.

But when he got the news, onlookers say that he looked uneasy. Well, what else would you expect from a recovering alcoholic who is about to be a father? Anyway, with the slight tension in their marriage because of Urban’s alcoholism, what better cure could there be than a baby to bring them closer again?

Nicole Kidman visited hubby Keith Urban at the Betty Ford Center in Palm Springs, California.

Urban has been in the in-patient rehab program since Oct 19 and is expected to stay there for 35-40 days.

Urban received the best male vocalist honor at the Country Music Association Awards and his friend Ronnie Dunn accepted the honor on his behalf and read out a letter from Urban that read,

“I’m pained not being there with y’all tonight,” and “To my wife, Nicole, I love you.”

Its amazing how Urban is fighting his demons for the Nic…In Hollywood where marriages are instant and express …I wish these two last longer than usual Hollywood couples!

There is something about the romance between Nicole Kidman and her hubby Keith Urban that it makes one feel warm and nice. Though Keith has been struggling with his alcohol addiction Nicole has been standing by him like a rock and has been his strongest ally to date. And more than anyone else it looks like Keith realizes that he must quit alcohol if not for himself than for his beloved wife.

The beleaguered star recently wrote to his wife from his rehab and all that the two sentenced letter mentioned was that

“To my wife, Nicole, I love you. I’m looking forward to coming home and seeing you all soon”

Oh that was so touching, and sure for Nicole’s sake we want you back rather soon Keth, good luck pal

The Oscar Winning Actress is totally in love with the form of Art. She says she gets a magical feeling from performing, she had discovered that as a teenager and its still very much with her.

She says, “I remember when it clicked,” Kidman says. “I didn’t have a terribly tumultuous childhood, but I’d escape into my head a lot. And to have this thing, acting, that gave me goose bumps and took my breath away, in the same way a boy could … it was like, ‘Hmm, boy or acting - I’ll take goose bumps, no matter how they come.’ “

And they had come both ways!!!

Its not often that you get to hear Nicole Kidman talking about her life and her struggle that made her what she has become today.

Talking about the never ending hard times in her life,

“I don’t think life ever gets easier,” she says. “I think we all think it’s going to, and you keep hoping for that time when you can say ‘All right, it’s easy now!’ I actually don’t think that ever happens. But I much prefer to stay alive and participate - I choose that, rather than to run away. And there have been times when I’ve chosen to curl up in a ball and, I suppose, hibernate until I come out. I’ve got no problem with that!”

“My life … sometimes it feels likes it floats rather than being actually earthed, and at other times I feel like I’m brought down to earth very quickly,” she says. Yet that sense of “floating,” she insists, isn’t always good. “I try and be very open to things that come along, to have my eyes and ears open. But that’s a hard place to exist in. It’s quite raw sometimes,” she adds.

“But ultimately, I’d rather be like that than closed off. You develop scar tissue. Though it’s a really hard way to live.”

Now thats what I call a woman of substance…who takes a road less travelled and dares to face her fears!

Keith Urban’s new album “Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Thing” is due release (on Nov. 7th) on Capitol Nashville. Now that he is busy with the album and his rehabilitation, Nic is apparently missing Urban and Urban periodically calls her up blowing kisses into the phone and saying “I love you.”
The duo very much live like regular folks in Nashville. Urban says they like to go to movies and he drags her to the record store at least once a week to check out new releases. They also try to travel together as much as possible.

“You don’t want something cool to happen to you and not have the person you love there to share it with you,” Urban says.

He says, Nic has influenced his new album alot.

“Nic really wanted me to record this song,” Urban says. “I really should give her an A&R credit on this album.” “Stupid Boy” is a sharp contrast to “Once In a Lifetime.”

The latter celebrates his new found love with Kidman, while “Stupid Boy” is a ballad on how foolishly men break the hearts of the women they love.

Friends close to Urban say his choice is one of strength, that he cares so much about his new wife Nicole Kidman, his new album, his fans, and his 2007 world tour, that he wants to be well. It would be much easier to not get sober. Urban, has fought drug and alcohol addition for many years.

The greatest high for a musician, says Urban, is a live performance that “clicks”—when the band hits a grove that is transcendent. “It’s (the high) that you look for in all the synthetic stuff, but you can’t find it. It won’t stop you from looking.”

Looks like things have just started getting better with Urban…We all are looking forward to his new album and the fresh lease of life he gonna get after fighting his demons at the Rehab!

She is 39, has 2 adopted kids (but she’s still their mommy right?), wants more biological kids of her own and yet she has no problem with being nude. What on earth? Has Nicole Kidman, ever thought of her kids?
What if they see her nude in some picture or movie someday? Will she be okay with that? Well, I think she will. Some ladies are downright shameless. She considers posing nude as an ‘art.’ Some art she’ll have to explain to her kids some day!
She also doesn’t mind doing sexually explicit scenes with any onscreen lovers, coz this too she considers an ‘art’. Well, if the fact that your wife doesn’t mind having onscreen sex doesn’t drive you Looney, I don’t know what will. No wonder poor old Keith Urban’s done drunk himself insane.
