Hollywood actress, Nicole Kidman became a proud mother of daughter, Sunday Rose, early on Monday morning.

Nicole gave birth to her daughter in Nashville, Tennessee hospital. Sunday weighed a healthy six pounds, seven and a half ounces.

Apparently Nicole’s labour was activated when her country singer buddy-Ronnie Dunn’s set off some homemade fireworks for Independence Day.

Dunn said, “Nicole told me Friday night that she was hoping that my fireworks would do it. I’m overjoyed for them.”

Pregnant actress Nicole Kidman has planned that she will give birth to her first baby listening to music.

The ‘Stepford Wives’ star who is going to deliver her baby in the next two weeks has compiled her favorite songs to have a musical labor.

Her favorite tracks include many songs by hubby Keith Urban and Irish flautist, Sir James Galway.

A source revealed,  “Nicole has been putting together CDs of music to listen to during labor. She has always loved James Galway, particularly his classical albums.”

“Whenever you go to her house, she has Galway on. There is one Prokofiev sonata that is her favorite.”

The Hollywood beauty has booked a private room at a medical center in Nashville, Tennessee and hopes to have a natural delivery.

Pregnant actress Nicole Kidman recently received a wonderful birthday gift from hubby Keith Urban on her 41st birthday.

The Australian actor was wished a very ‘Happy Birthday’ by 50,000 fans attending Keith Urban’s concert at Chicago’s Soldier Field.

The country star dedicated his hit song ‘Who Wouldn’t Wannna Be Me’ to his beautiful pregnant wife and then called her on the stage.

He then requested the crowd; “It would be nice to have 50,000 people sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her.”

After the wonderful gift, Kidman blew kisses to the packed crowd and made her way from the stage to continue watching her hubby’s performance.

We wish Nicole Kidman a very happy birthday and a wonderful life with many babies ahead.

The Australian actress pregnant with her first child with hubby Keith Urban had apparently done a dare-bare photoshoot with famous photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

However Nicole has snubbed off the rumors and revealed that the idea of doing a naked photoshoot when pregnant sounds ‘hilarious’ to her.

Kidman said, “‘It’s total nonsense. It was not that kind of a shoot. ‘It’s madness to think I did that or was even asked to do that. I’m just looking forward to having and caring for our baby.”

Although heavily pregnant Nicole Kidman is glowing with her first pregnancy but her she is apparently upset with ex-husband Tom Cruise for “manipulating” their adopted kids: Isabella and Connor.

She thinks that ex-hubby; Tom Cruise has manipulated their kids in such a way that they are closer to their new mom now.

The 40-year-old actress revealed that she misses her adopted children very badly and hoped for a Mother’s day treat but the kids spent the entire day with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

Well the scientology fanatic has completely gone nuts I guess.

Nicole reveals, “I can’t have a piece of cake every single night, but I can have a piece of cake three or four nights a week! I eat healthily, but I also love pies and chocolate. I’ve always had this long, lean body type and I haven’t changed since I was 15. I have a boy’s body. I would love to have boobs and a butt like Jennifer Lopez, but I’m not having surgery so there it is.”

The flame-haired star also insists she will never cut out her favourite foods or obsess about her body.

Nicole says, “When I see a great big piece of cheese and wonder if it’s better to eat it and get cellulite or not eat it, in the end, I’ll probably nibble on the cheese.”

Along with calorific treats, Nicole - who turned 40 last month - also refuses to give up smoking.

Of course staying healthy and good looking is important… and so is to have a little bit of fun and treat yourself occasionally… Right Nic?

Nicole Kidman starred in one of the most glamorous and expensive commercials ever made when she swooshed through Paris for Chanel No.5 (under the watchful eye of director Baz Luhrmann).

The massive fanfare surrounding that advertisement seems to have bypassed Kidman’s latest low-key commercial foray for Nintendo.

In a series of advertisements airing in Europe, Kidman appears as a slightly ditsy version of herself in a promotion for the company’s new “brain training” games.

Nic dressed in casual white, plays a game of rock, scissors, paper on a handset, before claiming she is trying to keep her mind young.

Kidman’s representatives have not confirmed how much she was paid for the 30-second advertisement (it is believed to be in the millions) or why she agreed to front the campaign, given she has no need for the money or media exposure.

Looks like Nic has special plans with hubby Keith Urban for her birthday. May be thats why she celebrated her 40th B’day well in advance on the beach in Sydney at a party thrown by her friends.Keith is expected to join her on Wednesday for her actual Birthday! I guess something really romantic is on the cards.

The Saturday’s party was largely an all-girl’s affair as Kidman’s sister Antonia and their mom Janelle invited 30 of the star’s closest pals from Australia and Hollywood to join them at Bondi Icebergs for a pre-birthday dinner.

And Kidman, who will also celebrate the first anniversary of her marriage to Urban later this summer, certainly isn’t feeling sore about hitting 40.

In a recent interview, she said, “It feels just right. I don’t feel what I thought that wretched age was going to be like. I have done a lot of things and it has been full up to this point, especially the past few years, so I am grateful for that.”

Some say alls well, while some say there is a lot of trouble in the TomKat paradise as things have started getting rancid after that fairytale sugary wedding.

So as you would have guessed, she supposedly kept her ego aside, swallowed her pride and sought Nicole Kidman’s help on how to handle Tom.

‘Katie was at her wits’ end with Tom. He wouldn’t agree to marriage counselling unless they went to a Scientology counsellor,’ continues the source. ‘But Katie didn’t think anyone associated with Scientology could be impartial. It was Meghann who suggested asking Nicole,’ added the source.

Ironically, if Nic new how to handle Tom, they’d still be together… oh oh… looks like that has irked some of Nics die-hard fans out there… but honestly… dunno who to blame though… Tom seems to be an over-grown child with the kind of obsessions he has every few days (this time Scientology).

Anyways each to his own… there is absolutely no limitations to how many times you can marry … isn’t it Try and try until you succeed as they say!

Nicole Kidman is again and again accused for being a ruthless, materialistic workaholic but she is the apple of Keith Urban’s eye. Apparently the man made adjustments in his ‘Love, Pain & the whole crazy World Tour’ to accommodate wifey Nicole Kidman and thereby putting their marriage first. But that won’t take away from the energy of the tour he assured.

The report in the weekly entertainment magazine notes that Keith has restructured his upcoming world tour just a bit to include scheduled breaks in Australia, where wife Nicole Kidman will be filming an epic romance with costar Hugh Jackman for the rest of the year.

The reason - “It’s an enormous amount of travel, but my marriage is important,” says Keith. The country star, 39, who completed three months of rehab in January, has two special reasons for his break from June 17 to June 27: Nicole turns 40 on June 20 and the couple’s first wedding anniversary is June 25.
